I was born in Brooklyn, NY and have 7 brothers and 2 sisters.  My dad was born in Calamba, Laguna and came to this country after serving in the U S Navy during W W I.  My mom is American of Polish descent.  The fond memories that I have growing up in the big city, is holidays.  Loved for the ethnic foods.  It was a sight to behold.  Mom preparing polish foods and Dad, Filipino.   My wife and I have been together for 53 years and have one son.  We move to North Carolina in December of 2000 and  live in Kings Mountain.  I  retired from the steel fabrication business in '09.  My focus as district representative is to encourage members to become more active and non-members to join the ranks of the Filipino community.
